PAIPED to Participate in the Intrade Malaysia 2009 Exhibition

The Directorate General of Export Development of The Public Authority for Investment Promotion and Export Development (PAIPED) in coordination with The International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC) shall be participating at the International Trade Fair (INTRADE) Malaysia 2009 to be held from 10 – 12 November 2009 at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

INTRADE Malaysia is one of the biggest international trade exhibition organized annually in the South East Asia region with more focus on eleven (11) industrial sectors such as foods & beverages, wood & furniture industry, construction & building materials, machinery & automotive components, electric & electronic parts, cables, lightings, etc. The exhibition hosts more than 300 exhibitors from 30 countries, attracts over 10,000 visitors and provides vast opportunities for exhibitors to expand their businesses not only in Malaysia but also in the all region.

PAIPED has been invited by ITFC to participate in the exhibition by exhibiting products manufactured by exporting companies from the Sultanate of Oman. Based on the responses from Omani exporters PAIPED has collected samples from 8 companies and shall be displaying these products at the above exhibition.

This is part of the initiative of the Directorate General of Export Development of PAIPED to reach out new markets, identify new business opportunity and partnership.

Mr. Emaad Al Shukeily, Marketing Researcher of PAIPED who will be participating in the exhibition hopes that the Omani Pavilion will attract good number of visitors resulting in export opportunity for Oman.
