PAIPED to participate in Infrastructure Exhibition Libya

Muscat, February 3, 2010 - The Public Authority for Investment Promotion and Export Development (PAIPED) is pleased to announce its participation in the INFRASTRUCTURE LIBYA Exhibition scheduled from 8th to 11th March 2010 at the Tripoli International Fair Ground, Libya. The INFRASTRUCTURE LIBYA Exhibition is the only specialist international exhibition addressing Libya’s fast growing infrastructure demand. The event is organised alongside the Oil & Gas Libya. The PAIPED market study on 32 Omani products in Libya conducted last year revealed that Oman’s market share in Libya’s imports has immense potential to increase. The Centre has taken a lead role to promote Omani exports, under the leadership of Aiman Hassan Ambusaidi, director of the export department at PAIPED and its participation in the upcoming event is aimed at furthering this goal. PAIPED also urges the Omani exporters and the business community to gain better marketing exposure by participating in the upcoming Infrastructure Libya Exhibition and taking the opportunity to meet with the potential buyers of Omani products in Libya. Alongside the exhibition, PAIPED will hold a match-making session between Omani exporters and Libyan buyers on March 10, 2010 to be held at the Al Kabir Hotel in Tripoli, Libya.
